01. Which production requirements prompted your customers to choose the Serviform machines?
Before the partnership between Plecamer-Serviform, our market was more used to Asian steel rule processing machines. But diecutting companies are demanding higher quality and accuracy dies for their modern die cutters every day. They need them delivered much faster, so our customers found out that Serviform fits perfectly with their requirements.
02. What are the main technical features on which your customers focus on choosing the machines?
Our customers are looking for accuracy, production speed, reliability and flexibility. The Serviform machines do really achieve ALL the functions that a modern diemaker needs.
03. Why do customers choose Plecamer?
We like to have a very close relationship with our customers and they know they can rely on us. Apart from representing Serviform, which is well known for being the world´s leading automatic steel rule processor brand, we work hard to keep an extensive spare part inventory and the best trained technical support team, which make our customers feel in the safe place. Last but not least, our group owns a modern diemaking shop in Spain, so we are always updated on the latest technologies and tendencies in Europe and we share that knowledge with our customers here in Latin America, which is something that gives them an extra value.
04. What is the aspect that makes you proud about the way you do business?
I cannot choose only one of them:
- Before Plecamer took off, Serviform was not so known in this part of the world. I think in a couple of years we have been able to change that situation considerablyand this makes me really happy. Also we like to work together with all the Serviform people, who are very professional and service-oriented, but at the same time open-minded and like to have fun from time to time…
- I believe we have built the best team here at Plecamer which makes things much easier.
- We have been able to run our Colombian branch and grow into South America. Thanks to Jon Lasa who is working very hard for that.
- And of course our customers. I am very proud about the strong relationships we have been able to build in this time here. Thanks to them: Gracias Mexico y Colombia!
05. The challenge for the next 5 years?
We need to keep growing in our business development and technical support team to be able to bring more and more Serviform machines to the market, further and further.
We need to continue developing new technologies and materials.
