Questions:
01. Which production requirements prompted your customers to choose the Serviform machines?
Serviform machines are developed and manufacturedout of practical needs. One of Serviform’s aims is to pro-actively listen to their customers. We often bring our customers to Caravaggio, before they come to a purchase. When they visit the factory, our customers will find a solid and technologically advanced company, where they will meet great professionals, who can explain every bit of the technical features and show you what the machines are capable of. Furthermore, the fact that Serviform has a it’s own die-shop, as part of the Serviform Group, is a huge advantage. You can be sure that the machines that come on the market have already been thouroughly tested. This assures strong quality.
02. What are the main technical features on which your customers focus on choosing the machines?
The machines are compact and easy to use. At the same time, local service is granted through Sosform. Service and loyalty are very important to the customer. Serviform does a lot of product development on the machinery. This enhances product performance and strengthens the brand awareness and brand recognition for being very technologially advanced.
03. Why do customers choose Sosform?
Customers choose us, because we have a lot of experiene in the machines and materials for the die-cutting/die-making industry. We have been dealing with the main producers in our industry for a long time. This shows trust and stability for the future. Our company has been founded in 1965, so we have a long tradition within the industry. We have a good track record which states reliability. Our open relationship with both customers and suppliers, has resulted in long-term relationships.
04. What is the aspect that makes you proud about the way you do business?
IWe have a lot of fun in the things we do. We try to be very reactive and try to change things as well. Our business is basically a “non-sexy” business, therefore we try to be inventive and original. We try to bring customers not only to see the machines, but to offer them an experience by meeting and talking to the people from the industry and show them how the machines are made and used in Italy. Our way of caring for our customers is far different from what our competition does.
05. The challenge for the next 5 years?
Our company has changed a lot in the last years. It has grown, we are the largest supplier of materials and machines in the industry in our area. We have renewed our company building over the last years, trying to establish a good working environment for our team and to create a place where we can easily meet customers and organize small or bigger events for our industry. Besides our service department, we are also growing in other markets for machinery and materials. In that way, we can establish a wider and even more solid base for the future. Our challenge will be to stay inventive and approach the market in a different way then we used to do.
06. Recently you organized an Open House within your premises. What are your “secrets” to turn such happenings in really succesful events?
Our recent open house was the first of smaller “open houses” to follow in the future. We try to show our customers new machines and technical features in our market and meet our suppliers at the same time. The goal is to give our customers the opportunity to vist our facility in which we can organize a meeting and a demo especially for them. And of course we offer good coffee and additional things. After the summer we will start planning a bigger “open house”, which will probably take place towards the end of the year.
