Our products certified by external independent authority
Many of you are perfectly aware about all the complex world of CE Certification.
CE Certification is about product safety, user health and environment: a process which provides the right to affix CE marking to a product. Preferably it starts on the development stage of the product, as there are certain CE requirements that are good to know during that phase. Products having CE certificate must comply with European safety rules and only after that can be traded freely within European Economic Area (EEA).
By placing the CE marking on a product, a manufacturer, as we are, is declaring, on his sole responsibility, conformity with all of the legal requirements to achieve CE marking. The manufacturer is thus ensuring validity for that product to be sold throughout the EEA. A manufacturer is responsible to:
• carry out the conformity assessment (including any testing, if required)
• set up the technical file
• issue the EC Declaration of Conformity (DoC)
• place CE marking on a product
As we as Serviform are really keen on challenges, we would not stop at internal certification, as many of our competitors do. Among the most competent international players, we selected Bureau Veritas, a world leader in laboratory testing, inspection and certification services,created in 1828. Thanks to its wide range of expertise, impartiality and independence, this authority certified that quality, health, safety and environmental management systems of our products comply with the CE and international standards.
