In our long history of creating machines for die makers and particularly for the rotary sector, we have continued to improve unceasingly: in fact, the models have been renewed over time, and from Rotax we moved to RotaxPlus and then to RotaNeXt. Each evolutionary step has helped to significantly improve the production process.
Rotary die-cutters around the world rejoice: the bender already established as the most advanced and comprehensive rule production center for rotary dies has evolved further and here is RotaPro!
With RotaPro we have crossed a new threshold, that of super-speed! In fact, after six months of testing the prototype in the field, the speed increase recorded in production amounts to 20%!
More in detail, we worked on three defined areas: the punching unit, the bending unit and the automation of the rule change: in all these areas, we have made improvements so that processing times will be speeded up.
Yet we had not enough breakthroughs! We focused on another very critical area: curved rule diameter limits, and guess what: we lowered them even further!
RotaPro bends curved rules with diameters starting from 7 inches (177 mm)!
We also added a reset sensor to reduce waste; last but not least, we have included a two-way scissor that is faster and more compact.
In our machines we always put focus on safety. In fact, on RotaPro we have introduced the latest technologies to ensure that the level of user safety (PL E) is increased without compromising the machine speed, flexibility, and ease-of-use features.
Of course, as on all other SDDS (Serviform Digital Diemaking System) machines, the management of information from CAD is carried out by a constantly updated Windows-based software specially developed for the rotary die shops. Main features of the control software are: ease of use, perfect interfacing with existing networks, and extreme flexibility.
