When it comes to the annual meeting of Serviform's international agents force, called WAM - World Agents Meeting - things are getting very serious. Or maybe not too much. The fact is, that the gathering of 20 was coming from 5 different continents, moves unbelievable energies: the ones fueled by the expectations of 5 different big clusters of customer needs.
Today we will not enter into figures and organisational details regarding sales and exports. We want to focus our attention on the dynamics of this annual 'gettogether', which this year comes along with the 70th anniversary of the Serviform group of companies.
As we described in one of our previous newsletters, in 70 years Serviform grew from a craftshop to a group of three companies with a global presence. We will recall the numerous achievements and results this year. Also it will be the occasion to finance the restoration of a 16th century (1531) fresco by Fermo Stella in the church of San Bernardino in Caravaggio, as the care for local cultures and art is, together with environmental responsability, among the values of our group of companies.
Annual meetings normally have the goal to review the results of the previous year and to set the goals of the following. We from Serviform want to add some more value and communicate to our agents all the relevant updates on strategies, on any other products an item Which our company elaborated during the recent past and will do in the close future, as they are our ambassadors in the world.
The most important news this year is not only linked to products, but also to the renewed production site of which we talked in our newsletter of February, 1st. Products are for selling, hence for the turnover, sure, but a renewed production area and flow help the production speed which means a faster time to market. Do you like this? We too!
Furthermore, we present training, digital communication strategy and an oversea joint venture. This as to as the updates to our agents.
Yet, the highlights of our WAM are the interactive spots. These are among the most precious moments, when we from Serviform get into the listening mode with the goal to capture as much as possible of the customer needs from all over the world. For this reason our agents are our ears and our megaphones thanks to which we collect the market requests and transform them into winning products.
Ok, now, this was the funny part of the meeting. Things are getting serious when it comes down to the team building activities. The subject of this year is linked to cooking: "We are from here: a local cooking experience". A regional professional chef drilling the 20 MAs and forcing a local menu out of them, which they will have to eat by themselves… If this is not a challenge which unites the group even more, then they risk to starve.
In Italy this is surely not an option.
