Here our latest news from Japan: no later than a month ago, Serviform exhibited at IGAS 2018 – International Graphic Arts Show, which took place in Tokyo at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center ‘Tokyo Big Sight’ from the 26th to the 31st of July.
The International Graphic Arts Show (IGAS), organized by the Japan Printing Machinery Association and Japan Association of Pre-Press & Digital Printing Systems Supplier, is a comprehensive international trade show on print media which showcases the latest products, technology, and services related to printing, bookbinding, paper converting, packaging, digital graphics and digital communications. It provides visitors with new vision of the future of print media industry by presenting the latest technology and various solutions. The show also provides exhibitors with excellent international business opportunities and contributes to the invigoration and development of the printing and related industries.
We participated to the event together with Nakayama Steel Rule, our distributor since 2016, one of the leading Japanese steel rule producers with a deep knowledge of the Japanese die-making industry. Nakayama is doing a great job all over the country and is contributing in a significant way to increase our presence in this very challenging market.
The highlight of our presence at the show was the launch of our new IntegrACrease, a machine to generate all the required creasing rules, perfectly integrated in the Serviform software, which was rewarded with a great interest from the Japanese and overall Asian visitors. Furthermore we also exhibited our EcoPlus in working conditions, the newest bending machine of the ProForm production, equipped with 2 and 3 Pt tools.
Generally speaking there was a profuse presence of Japanese and Asian customers and prospects which gave us the opportunity to acquire numerous new, fruitful contacts.
Our presence at IGAS had the aim to get even closer to the local operators, offering them products and solutions, which respond to their specific requests and meet the high quality needs, and at the same time, increase their overall productivity.
Our Diemakers Performance Crew was present with technical, service and sales personnel from the Italian HQ of Caravaggio. Nakayama Steel Rules’ competent experts vigorously completed the team. Together we demonstrated how fast and professional we can respond to the particularly demanding Japanese customers’ expectations.
